Kundalini Yoga is such a vast and deep collection of knowledge and tools that it can really help us to navigate any times we may be facing in life. Right now we find ourselves in the midst of two powerful eclipses. This can be a turbulent time as we're pulled in opposite directions by the first solar eclipse last week and the lunar eclipse at the end of the month.
Eclipses are extremes in polarities anyway; the light becoming dark. But especially now, with this two eclipse portal, we can feel draw of opposite intense energies. The good news is there's a kriya for that! ;)
In class this month, and especially in our Power Trio and Eclipse Workshop we'll be focusing on developing the auric field and the nervous system. Strengthening the auric field serves to keep us stable, calm and centered despite any outward turbulence. A strong nervous system reinforces the same.
The auric field, or magnetic field is the body of energy which surrounds you. In Kundalini Yoga it is known as the 8th chakra. When it is strong and healthy, the aura is bright and expands in all directions. It serves as your protection and projection.
With a strong aura your presence works for you. That which you need comes to you easily, you are centered, secure and charismatic. A weak aura can leave you feeling vulnerable, unsteady and diminished.
